The Apricus Health Surgery Center takes over an abandoned surgery center that had been vacated for several years. The existing building and infrastructure required significant overhaul and modernization to bring up to current standards and to incorporate the latest in cardiac procedure equipment. The project included a nearly complete gutting of all four of the original ORs and an update to modern functional requirements. Two of the ORs were converted from general purpose use to cardiac Cath labs outfitted with fixed C-arm technology.
