Micro-Resort Visioning and Design

Set within a private landscaped court, this micro-resort offers a fun getaway. Planned resort amenities include multiple indoor and outdoor sport courts, a cozy outdoor pavilion space with lounge areas, outdoor community kitchens, and yard games spaces, all arranged around a large swimming pool.
The initial phase of the micro resort will comprise 8-10 duplexes, with each individual unit offering a spacious 400 square feet living space. Within each micro dwelling we’ve packed space for 4 visitors, a full bath with walk-in shower, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchenette. The design of the duplexes draws inspiration from traditional sources but tweaks them to provide modern twists. The exterior features cement board siding planks with accents in a herringbone pattern for an additional design flourish. The exterior showcases steel doors and windows with narrow mullions and frame elements allowing for an airy and open appearance.
Using similar design features, the large pavilion is designed to be the central gathering and socializing space of the resort. Light colored cement board siding and white-washed timber adds to the open and airy feel while a central fireplace clad with handmade blue tiles adds a punch of color and focal point for the whole resort.
